Interesting and Unique Card GameBy: Jacob on 15 September 2021This would have been a four star review if it wasn't for the mechanic of game play that Sushi Go has. Players start with their own hand, play a card from it, and then swap hands around the table - so you never really have your own hand that belongs to you. In order to win, you must strategically choose which cards you want to redeem, and which cards you're happy with putting back into the circulation of cards for your opponents. I'm also a sucker for games that let you decide whether you want to win by working for yourself, or win by working against people - and Sushi Go definitely achieves that. There are also different cards available in each game depending on which 'menu' you choose to play with. And with this Party edition of the game, you get more card types, and more menu options! Yay, even more variety in a game that already had a lot of variety!!!
